- Iguazu Falls, Argentina / Brazil
Iguazu Falls are the widest waterfall in the world, its width is 2.7 km (twice the size of Niagara Falls). It is located on the border between Argentina and Brazil and can be seen on a trip to the national parks of both countries. More than 275 cascades combine to form a huge semi-circular chain of waterfalls surrounded by emerald rainforest.

The magnificent Gullfoss was formed as a result of a sudden flood that opened cracks in the layers of volcanic lava. It is one of Iceland’s most iconic landmarks. Its rough and powerful stream of water descends two tiers (a total height of 32 m) into a deep gorge. On a sunny day, it acquires a golden hue due to a large number of glacial deposits.
