This is another secluded beach in Thailand, located in the city of Krabi. Raleigh Beach, aka Phra Nang Beach, is a beautiful beach with calm white sand and a clear sea. The beach is situated on just a small peninsula with large limestone cliffs, lagoons, caves, and viewpoints.

This spectacular peninsula is cut off from the main city of Krabi simply because it is covered with limestone headlands and deep forest valleys.

Conditions are most ideal for swimming from November to April while it becomes difficult in the low season. The time from May to October is best suited for activities like kiteboarding and surfing. A few local restaurants on the beach make it the perfect place to relax and unwind in the sun.

The third longest beach located between Patong in the north and Kata in the south, Karon Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket. It is also wide enough for beach-goers not to feel crowded. At its southern end, there are spots for snorkeling and diving.

Karon is divided into three main areas, each very different: Karon Center is a lively small town with plenty of options for dining, shopping, nightlife, and a Buddhist temple that hosts a bi-weekly market. An ideal place for an evening walk, Karon Road has several large resorts, restaurants, and shopping areas including Karon Bazaar. The third main area is towards the southern end of the beach which showcases the city’s excellent restaurants and more rowdy nightlife spots.
