Cruises to Turkey Egypt and Georgia to be launched from Sochi: On April 2, visa-free international cruises from Sochi will start: the liner Astoria Grande, designed for 1328 passengers, will start its first flight.
The first cruise will follow the two-week Magic East route through Istanbul, Bodrum, Alexandria, and other ports of the Black, Aegean, and Mediterranean seas. Passengers will need a valid passport, vaccination certificate, and a fresh PCR test. Visas are not required.
The cost of a cruise in the low season is from 1300 €. The package includes four meals a day and drinks, and entertainment program, access to the spa area and gym.
Further, Astoria Grande will cruise ” Russian Easter in Jerusalem ” (via Istanbul, Bodrum, Limassol, Haifa, Alexandria and Kusadasi) and “Delightful Georgia and Greece” (Istanbul, Mykonos and Santorini, Kusadasi and Batumi). The Legendary Greek Islands cruises will also soon be available for booking, with itineraries that will include one or more islands: Mykonos, Patmos, Kos, Santorini, Syros, and Leros. If any of the ports is closed due to a pandemic, the liner will make alternative stops along the way.
So Sochi may well become a new international cruise hub.
