Virginia
Virginia is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States, bordered by Maryland to the north, Washington D.C. to the northeast, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, North Carolina to the south, Tennessee to the southwest, and West Virginia to the northwest. The state covers an area of approximately 42,775 square miles (110,785 square kilometers) and has a population of around 8.5 million people, making it the 12th most populous state in the country.
